What did we do?
We supported the full rebrand and repositioning of Cafe Nikki to transform it from a basic breakfast outlet into a compelling, standalone dining concept. Working within the Nikki Beach Resorts brand framework, we redesigned the logo and built out a cohesive identity system—including menus, uniforms, brand story, tone of voice, and marketing materials. Our goal was to align the venue with the resort’s lifestyle image while giving it a clear identity and structured guest experience. What once felt like a default hotel breakfast area became a curated, elevated destination for resort guests and visitors alike.
Cafe Nikki was originally positioned as a simple breakfast outlet within Nikki Beach Resorts, lacking both identity and structure. There were no clear service SOPs, minimal brand presence, and no cohesive experience to differentiate it from a standard hotel restaurant. Our team was brought in to evaluate its potential and reposition the venue into a full-service destination aligned with the Nikki Beach lifestyle brand. The opportunity was not just to redesign visuals, but to rethink how the space communicated, operated, and engaged with its audience.
We began by developing a refreshed logo that sat naturally within the Nikki Beach portfolio, while giving Cafe Nikki its own sense of place. The design direction extended to a complete overhaul of visual identity, including updated menus, signage, uniforms, and tone of voice. A brand story was crafted to give the restaurant a clearer role within the guest journey—moving it from a transactional space to a curated, aspirational experience that spoke to the global traveler. Every asset, from printed materials to touchpoints across the property, was aligned for consistency and clarity.
The final result was a fully repositioned restaurant that offered more than breakfast—it offered a sense of occasion. Whether for in-house guests or external visitors, Cafe Nikki became a destination in its own right. The brand now reflected the elevated standards of the Nikki Beach group while having a strong enough identity to stand alone. This transformation brought cohesion to the offering and unlocked opportunities for targeted marketing, seasonal events, and a more memorable dining experience.
