What we've done

We've done a lot, and we love almost all of it.

We want to share everything, but let's be real, who's actually going to take the time to look at them? So, to make life easier, we've picked some of our most recent. (You can scroll to the bottom to see more).

Website overhaul and content creation

Task:

We were tasked to build a new, engaging and functional website for Atana Hotels group in Oman. The main priority was for a mobile first design, with easily accessible CTAs, and fully functional and implemented tracking from any types of digital ads. Another top requirement was security and ease of updating the site through a CMS.

Our approach:

We are expert web and app developers, having created several products for a range of different companies in vastly different industries. We took this as a chance to create something unique. The hospitality industry is one with very minimal innovation, especially digital innovation. If you look at the average hotel website, it's a nightmare to navigate, with 100s of pop-ups, call to actions, promos and offers etc. It's hardly ever a great experience, and believe us, we've done a deep dive analysis in to some of the best hotel brand's websites and the results were anything but spectacular.

This was our chance to create something that stands out. It doesn't only function very well as a site, but it looks amazing and holds true to the clients wishes. Oman is a beautiful country, rich with culture and stories. A very important part of this culture is the art of telling stories and guiding those on a journey. This is even more true for hotels. The guests journey starts the moment they start looking for a place to stay (usually online). They're thrown in to the void of booking.com, agoda, brand pages, spam pages, google meta results, etc. It's a lot and very few leave you feeling satisfied after the experience. We've all the seen the '1 room left' and it's absolute b.s. It doesn't intice you to book something, it just makes you panic and potentially make a regrettable choice. Anyway, we digress. The point is, we did something different. Something better.

Mobile first approach

What does this mean?

It means the client expects most of their customers to reach their site by phone. This is an increasingly common trend. One thing with responsive website today is, a mobile first design will still have an amazing desktop and other view-size experience, because of how sites are built. Before, you built a m.url.com and a url.com site. Now, if built properly, the site is 'responsive' and no matter what you've accessed the site with, the experience should be buttery smooth. We like buttery smooth.

The grand finale

Without any further ado, we present the final product:
